Black Walnut Cafe - Houston

This place is awesome. Very laid back and pleasant atmosphere. The food was so good, plenty of flavor along with a unique menu. We ordered the Burger Benedict and the chorizo taco plate. Both plates were great. Love this place!

Black Walnut Cafe has the most amazing brunch! Every time we?ve gone and tried something new we haven?t been disappointed. So delicious! We?ve had the Bacon Avocado Benedict, Brisket Benedict, Avocado toast with chicken sausage, Chicken Waffles,Salmon Omelette and the Pecan Pie pancakes. Their Lattes are great too!

This is a fantastic restaurant with a delightful atmosphere. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating, making it great for families. We tried the Nashville hot chicken benedict and the chicken and waffles for breakfast, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The fries were nicely seasoned, and the coffee was fresh. Our food arrived within 20 minutes of placing our order. I always look forward to dining here for brunch and dinner. I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, thanks to the excellent service and delicious food. We enjoyed sitting outside, and the interior had a really cool vibe. We ordered breakfast, and it was fantastic overall. However, I found the latte to be a bit lacking. They provided the milk and directed me to the coffee machine, but I prefer my latte frothy, and I think it would have been better if they made it for me. On the other hand, my wife ordered an iced coffee and absolutely loved her Caramel Macchiato. She couldn't get enough of it!

I dined here for the first time and was searching for a great brunch spot without a strict dress code. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the steak and eggs, and they were quite filling. I definitely recommend the mimosa flight—I would order it again! The strawberry flavor was a standout! Just a heads up, the wait can be a bit lengthy, but it’s worth it if you don’t mind.
