The service is the best in Houston. Every employee was smiling and extremely helpful. You can't go wrong with sweets and ice cream. I would say be prepared to wait in line because everyone tastes each flavor before making up their mind. Just enjoy the high energy feel of the atmosphere. The only downside is the price. What Vanessa H doesn't like about Amy's Ice Creams:
This was my first time coming in to Amy's and the customer service could have been better. I came in with my kids and Ms.Edna took our order. My son was trying to decide what topping he wanted and the lady proceeded to get an attitude and getting loud with me. Already being in the store she seen how many people we where and could've been more understanding. I get the line was long and they wanted to get it out but I'... View all feedback.
The ice cream is tasty and I’m always happy when eating it but the line is so slow and tonight at 1048pm when the average daily temp is 90 plus degrees they had the AC off and only blowing a little cold air for the employees, it felt better outside. Everyone was sweating and hard to breath from the close proximity and all the hot air inside.
I love that the place is very welcoming and the staff is super friendly. I've been there many times and definitely I will be returning again and again. This is my second favorite ice cream place in Houston after Milk Sugar.Pros: Their flavors are great if you like sweets. Super creative combinations too. Their ice cream flavors that are not always the same, they give you a reason to come back to look at the new menu. They are open until late, and there's a security guard outside.Cons: Portions are not consistent. The ice cream melts really fast when mixing. May be too sweet for some people.
Ice cream ice cream we all scream for ice cream. This spot was excellent service. They are very patience and seem happy to serve you. You may have a long wait because everyone is trying the flavors and trying to make a choice. but the service will be great. Please know you can mix and match anything so be prepared to be overwhelmed. I'm just saying

Already being in the store she seen how many people we where and could've been more understanding. I get the line was long and they wanted to get it out but I'm a human being and theres certain ways to talk to someone. I had no attitude what so ever so I was shocked when spoken to like that. Ive been in the customer service industry for over 3 years and that's just unacceptable please train your employees on how to treat their customers.
I've only been here twice but both times were a great experience. (Went at night time) The man with the kilt is awesome at flipping ice cream!! I love watching him prepare the ice cream lol First time I went the line was long but it moved quickly. They change up some of their ice cream flavors and a couple of them are alcoholic <3 I really liked their strawberry (mixed it with matcha the 1st time and then jasmine the 2nd time). They sell shakes too which tasted pretty good according to my husband.Cute place with some seating and they also sell prepared ice cream cakes. Dogs are welcome in their outdoor porch area according to their signs. It's across the Halal place in a weird corner turn area but the cow on top of the place is easy to see.
