Beautiful service here, never had my waiter keep my cup full. Steak was 8/10 Blackened Wels 10/10 Hush puppies were soggy. Macaroni was a 10/10 Burger was 10/10 Bacon fries appetizer 10/10 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Oak Fillin' Station:
It's... okay. The food was brought out but the ribs, brisket, and pork tasted not even semi warm. It actually had that flavor as if it was smoked earlier in the week and reheated for our meal. The fries were hard and you could have used them as shanks at a prison. I've ate here before last year and it was decent. I just don't think I'll be back unless I'm passing through to Lake Catherine. This is a great restaurant with nice vibes and a very wide menu selection. Their country fried steak is one of the best I have ever had in my life. The loaded baked potato was fantastic as well. Our server, Amber, went above and beyond to ensure a great experience for all of us by helping to accommodate dietary restrictions for one person in our group. Would definitely come back here again!

We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30. The place was busy, but not packed necessarily. There appeared to be adequate service available, however our service was very poor. It seemed to be really mismanaged and chaotic. We had long waits for our food and even refills. At one point we didn’t see our server for 30 minutes. It could have just been a fluke thing, but our service experience was not great. The food however was very delicious and they offered a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed my pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich. I’d go again and just hope for better service next time around.
Absolutely delicious! Whether you're in the mood for catfish or BBQ, they've got you covered. It's good down home cooking. They have three different bbq sauces to choose from and awesome fried sides. The vibe is vacation, but you can tell the locals like to eat here too.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly
