We really LOVE this restaurant but for some reason they don’t answer their phone. We try to make reservations their website doesn’t work so our only alternative is to call. We call during business hours on the days they post that they are open but no one answers. We are an hour away so we won’t make the trip unless we can get someone to answer. Food great, service excellent. BUT why all the plastic? Way too much plastics in use. Cups, lids, straws, dressing holder! For 5 people a mountain of plastic! Please consider changing to washable dinnerware. think mother earth.
Always delicious food and great service. We make a point of coming in whenever we're on the Big Island. Never disappointed!
My wife and I were ignored for about 20 minutes. We got up and walked out. We drove 60 miles to be treated like trash. il Mondo will never see us or any of our visitors.

This is a great place to have lunch in Honokaa. There is a pizza oven in the store, and the pizzas are carefully made by hand. They also have lemonade, although it's not on the menu. There are many things that please the eye, such as the atmosphere inside the store and the furniture. It was a very satisfying meal.
