We had a great meal in the old Bailey, it's a bit hard to find how you need to get into the art room, then take the lift to the second floor. You will be rewarded with a beautiful room, attentive service and an extensive menu of vegan options, a rarity in Hong Kong. We had pulled the hand noodles and soy and fresh edamame main. The cocktails were also great. Pricy, but it's worth it! View all feedback.
What Hampus Haverinen doesn't like about Old Bailey:
Lovely Jiangnan concept restaurant sited on top of a art meseum within the newly redeveloped cultural prescint of what used to the Old Goal. Wow! This is the first call when I entered Old Bailey. This is a restaurant in the beautiful block called Tai Kwun, the center for culture and culture that was restored from the old police connection during the British colonization. In addition to a beautiful place in a beautiful environment, it is also a beautiful restaurant. The food is a fusion of various typical dishes from different regions in China. It's beautiful. I'm generally not a fan of Chinese cuisine, but here I have to admit that I had to change my mind. I was here for Brunch and I had a delicious meal. Brunch follows everything you can eat, but despite any other restaurant that uses this concept here, the food is DELICIOUS. Service is perfect. The staff is super careful and will always pay attention to your needs.
Great dim sum!!! Trendy vibe and a great spot to grab lunch. Definitely worth checking out when in Hong Kong.

The setting is beautiful with a lovely lounge area for pre dinner drinks and potential outdoor seatings on a good day. We had major difficulty finding the place though and would appreciate better signage. Service appears to be a work in progress. We did not feel that the waitress enjoy making recommendation to us and at times she appeared impatient while we were consulting each other when we were ordering. Would also want more attention in the pouring of water/wine and in changing our plates. Food is however exquisite. Fine and authentic flavour. Portion is on the small side though. Pricey but that's to be expected at this end of town.
Beautiful environment, delicious food and good service. Packed lunches of $150 per person
