Roman's Famous Meats Seafood

I did so much fun this morning on this Poppyseed Kolache! I bought it at Roman's Famous Meats and Seafoods in Honesdale Pa. It is homemade and it is simply amazing!!!!

The selection is absolutely huge, the quality of food and meat is great. May say the homemade meats are authentic, old world recipes. Would have been 5 stars if the prices were more reasonable. Understand that you pay more for imported food, real keelbasa, sausages, etc., but the prices were still quite steep. (Maybe it's pandemic or inflation? Owner is a nice man who is obviously proud of the business.

This place is wonderful! Great people and a wide variety of Polish food GO and try ALL the different types of pierogis. Find the blueberry pierogi you won’t regret it! They even have my favorite spicy brown mustard Kosciusko. Go there for some unique items! Highly recommend.

All the prepared foods are amazing. Stuffed cabbage is my family’s favorite. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. During the summer the grandfather bbqs out front, experience so good we visited every weekend.
