This has to be my favorite BBQ place ever. This restaurant understands that good BBQ is not expensive, and requires that the cooking process is simple and quick. Let’s face it; BBQ wasn't invented by people who had a lot of money, or time on their hands. Shorty's BBQ is definitely keeping the old-time traditions of good BBQ. If you go, make sure you get a corn on the cob. You cannot find a better corn on the cop anywhere else. Also, make sure you check their website or the local Sunday newspaper for coupons--there are always coupons available. I recommend getting the spareribs or the BBQ chicken--I never get anything else. The baby backs are a little dry, cost a lot more than the spareribs, and just don't taste as good--it is no wonder they were never on the original menu. The sandwiches are alright, but if you are at Shorty's, you want BBQ so forget about sandwiches. I've been going to Shorty's for a little over 15 years now, and I highly recommend the restaurant.
