Southern Eatery - Holly Springs

I just tried this wonderful little hole in the wall Diner and Nabeby and I loved it! The food was great and the people were very friendly. We will definitely go back there

I am a lover of food, particularly Chicken Alfredo. This was some of the best I have ever had. The parmesan flavor really came through. It beat out many Italian establishments. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. We will be back.

Great little place. Great food. Just a little off interstate, but worth the time. A must visit.

We stumbled upon Southern Eatery when we first got into Holly Springs after a very long travel day while we were in town for the North Mississippi Hill Country Blues Picnic. We were greeted by the owner's Mother, Miss Phoebe and right away I knew we were home. The food could have been terrible and I wouldn't have cared. Miss Phoebe made us feel as if we were family and that she'd known us all our lives. The hospitality we were shown at the restaurant and throughout our trip to Mississippi was amazing. The ppl here were kind, warm beyond welcoming. It shattered all of my preconceived idea of what to expect from this state. I have definitely found my home away from home. We ended up going back to Southern Eatery twice and I ordered the steak salad both times. To say the food was the best I'd ever had would be an understatement. Other than my Grandmother my Mother's food, I'd never experienced food like that. Everything is homemade. What an absolute treat! Until we meet again next year... We are on holiday from England doing a road trip and on the way to Tupelo from Graceland and Memphis we came across this lovely little town and this restaurant. So glad we did. It was the best meal I've had so far on this trip and the owners staff were very welcoming. Please check it out if you can !
