This is my top choice for Italian dining in the area. Since relocating from Brooklyn, NY a few years back, I can confidently say that the food is consistently delicious, and the service is exceptionally friendly. Cristo's has a charming neighborhood vibe that I really appreciate. My family and I visit a few times each month. The owner is very involved and often assists at the front of the restaurant. What Jen Swindell doesn't like about Cristo's Bistro:
I was seated at 4:45 on a Wednesday, but it took 13 minutes for someone to take my drink order despite the restaurant being completely empty. I noticed them preparing takeout for a woman who was waiting, and instead of calling her name, they quietly placed her order on the counter, forcing her to ask if it was hers. The garlic knots were overpoweringly garlicky and tasted raw (see attached photo). The rice balls were... View all feedback.
Eating is good. Server was terrible. On our table and left 1 menu for 4 people. We had to ask for cutlery. Bread came after meals. Several times took too long to get wine, even broken off last glass. She never asked how our food was. Lift the service and things are great
Was recommended to make reservations as a Saturday night is usually very very busy. When we arrived at 730 there were only two other tables and only 1 maybe two more arrived while we were there... We were seated right next to another table (less than 3 feet away- not socially distanced at all) was kinda wondering why as the entire place was pretty empty... menu was online which is fine specials were updated and menu was easy to navigate. My table ordered some drinks (wine and beer) and then came out within a few minutes. We ordered lobster ravioli, blue crab ravioli, salmon dinner—— all of them also came with a handful of shrimp, which was a surprise and kinda over did it. My husband ate his salmon and shrimp but we who ordered the ravioli only ate the ravioli(my lobster ravioli was delicious) but as the shrimp was too much, we took them Togo. Overall it was all good just a few things were “meh that’s weird or out of ordinary” that’s why given only 4 stars. Would go back probably for lunch to try the pizza.
Loved it 100% will go back. It is a very cute and nice place. The service was great very kind and helpful. The food is amazing and good portion sizes. The price is not bad for what you are getting. They have lots to choose from. Its a good spot to have a date night or a family night out. They have outside seating as well. Clean bathroom. Lots of parking.
The owner was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions, and even went out of his way to offer a customized pasta/veggie dish to me and checked in periodically with my group. My two friends and I all enjoyed our meals, and there was enough for leftovers.
Delicious! Best Italian food in the area. We will definitely be back.
