Smashburger - Hollister

Went there Saturday night and all I can say is the burgers are terrible!! Don't waste your money or time. If I was being honest McDonalds is better tasting. You've been warned.

I went in yesterday 9/24/2023 I placed my order at 1:59 they were taking forever so I went to wait in my car I then went in to ask if it was ready and the lady told me something which I didn’t understand. I literally waited like 5 minutes for her to pay attention to me and I asked her again if my order was ready if not I wanted a refund since I had been waiting for 1 hour. She looked at me like if I was lying when I said 1 hour . I then showed her my receipt that said 1:59 was when I ordered ! It was 2:58 when I went to ask and my order was still not ready ! I understand food places get busy but to be waiting for 1 hour and my food still not ready that’s RIDICULOUS!!

The food is yummy! The workers are friendly but constantly forget items. The restaurant is always messy as well. Spend less here for a family of 4 than McDonald's. I would just say be patient as they look short staffed. They look to be doing the best they can.

Ok here's the thing, service is absolutely wonderful. The girl at the front register was so kind and just such a sweet soul. The food...? Eh. The burger buns were extremely dry for some reason. I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. However, the real reason why I come here is for the rosemary fries and those did not disappoint.

I wasn't impressed. Ordered the new BBQ Burnt Ends sandwich and the Mushroom Swiss burger with fries. The flavors for both were bland. The BBQ was without a good BBQ flavor, it was barely there. The mushroom swiss was better, but barely. The best thing was the fries, they were very good. All in all the food was no where near worth the prices they charged. I won't return.
