Tosha Ramen, a petite yet charming quick ramen bar, welcomed us into its cozy embrace. Within its compact walls, an ambiance of simplicity prevailed. The menu, a well-crafted assortment, catered to our tastes, promising a satisfying experience. My culinary voyage led me to the seafood ramen, a dish that didn't disappoint, although my wife's choice, the curry ramen, stole the spotlight. The flavors danced, and her dish emerged as a triumph, its taste resonating like a culinary symphony.Yet, amidst these culinary delights, a minor hiccup surfaced. Our server, eager but slightly overzealous, brought forth the bill prematurely, not minding our ongoing meal. Three follow-up inquiries, though well-intentioned, underscored a sense of haste that contrasted the unhurried ambiance. The absence of rush in the establishment's atmosphere was replaced by a hint of urgency.Nonetheless, these minor hiccups aside, our visit to Tosha Ramen painted a picture of flavors and comfort. In the compactness of the space, taste prevailed, with each dish representing a canvas of creativity. The blending of textures, flavors, and the camaraderie of dining surrounded us, offering a tale worth savoring.
I read so many great reviews about this place and we were excited to try it. Very disappointing. If you are in to deep fried high carb high fat foods then you may like this place. I was not a fan. Had some Japanese fried chicken as an appetizer. It was bland and greasy, fatty with a mayonnaise type dipping sauce. Not good. Decided to try shrimp tempura, we received the worst heavily breaded very small shrimps seemed like they came out of a box. Honestly not even edible. We did not eat them. We think she may have given us fried shrimp instead of the tempura shrimp we ordered, because it was not shrimp tempura. Once again served with a mayonnaise type sauce. Looks like Mayo with a tiny bit of ketchup. Awful! My husband had the spicy pork ramen and I had the curry ramen. The broth was pretty good but was once again a deep fried heavily breaded pork in the ramen and a tiny bit of bok choy leaves also deep fried! My husband did not even eat his ramen, he hated it! I will say the place seems very popular, but it was not for us.
We had a great time at Tosh’s Ramen. We tried the Tonkotzu Ramen and it was just delicious. Pork was so soft that you could not believe it and it actually melts in your mouth like butter. The flavor was outstanding. We also order Gyoza as an appetizer and it had a real nice taste. The place itself was nice and quite confortable. However, being a Japanese restaurant we expected that the music would have a Japanese theme, but it wasn’t. At least for me the American music was a little bit out of place. Service was nice and polite and we will definitely back.
Ordered the chef's special Tom Yum Ramen and the flavors were on point. This was a luxurious restaurant version of an instant mama ramen. Would definitely eat again or any special on this menu.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian ramen and other veggie friendly options.Kid-friendliness: I see people bring their babies in and their own food and they do not have an issue.Parking: The parking is free within the strip mall.
