Taco John's - Holdrege

We thought the service was a little slow, but when we got into the window, we could see that there was only one young man working. I hope nobody complained about the waiting period. If someone deserved an increase and a great godfather on the back, this young man did. We were proud that his things were running, and his boss should be!

Former employee here. Taco John's is best if you are looking for fast and tasty west mex tasting food. My employees feel like a second family for me. I would restore a spicy Sirloin steak and potato griller on our value menu. A great place to work and eat.

We waited about 45 minutes until I went to check and finally realized it was closed which bumbed me out but we had about 10 other cars that waited also. A closed sign would have been awesome. It is usually really good when we eat there.

I’ve been to the Holdrege location twice and have had subpar food on both occasions. The first time I was told be careful the ole’s are hot. Not hot, but very overcooked! Too hard to eat. Tonight, I ordered chipotle lime fried chicken tacos and got jalapeño. Probably won’t be back, sad because I love taco johns. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
