Banh Mi Chay Nha Trang - Hoi An

I have tried 3-4 popular vegan banh mi in Hoi An, but this place is the best. This is my third time coming here, and the recipe has definitely improved. In my opinion, their banh mi is even better than the famous vegan banh mi I had tried in Nha Trang before. The stall is located next to the snack bar and the standard price is 10k, but you can pay more for additional fillings. The ingredients are not cooked with as much sugar as other food places in Hoi An. I recommend trying the not-chili banh mi, but be sure to let the owner know beforehand. The owner is very friendly and speaks English. She has been vegan/vegetarian for 30 years and I feel good knowing that I am supporting a truly vegan business. This review was updated on May 5, 2020.
