Had dinner with a friend here the other night as had heard about it from a colleague. Initially found it hard to find as its in a random little square but worth looking for. I recently dined at this restaurant with a friend after hearing about it from a colleague. Despite being located in a hidden square, the search was worth it. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. We enjoyed two curries, two naans, rice, beer, and accompaniments for under $50, with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The citrus dishes and naans were particularly delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. I will definitely make the trip to Laverton to dine here again.
I must commend this small, traditional Indian restaurant for its amazing food, attentive service, and great value for money. I am so impressed with the quality of the food that I am a regular customer. It is conveniently located near the Princes Freeway (Melbourne Geelong), so I highly recommend stopping by for a meal or takeout. The cuisine ranges from mild to spicy, with a variety of vegetarian options and generous servings. Some must-try dishes are Kashmiri Naan, Tangri Kebab, Lamb Cutlets, Butter Chicken, and Kulfi (although that is just my personal preference). The service is discreet, but very attentive, and the staff do their best to speak English. They only allow BYO wine, but the prices for beer are reasonable. The décor may be simple and the view may be of the car park, but you are paying for the food experience, not the ambiance.

I am compelled to praise this small traditional Indian Restaurant simply on the basis of its fabulous food, attentive service and excellent value for money. I am so impressed by the quality of food that it is a regular haunt.Located and easily accessible from the Princes Freeway (Melb - Geelong), do yourself a favour and make the effort to drop in for a meal or even take-away.Cuisine goes mild to HOT and vegetarian and servings are generous. Must haves are Kashmiri Naan, Tangri Kebab, Lamb Cutlets, Butter Chicken, and Kulfi (But that's my personal taste). Service is discreet but immediately attentive, and they try their best english. BYO wine only beers are reasonably priced. So the décor might be simple and the outlook is to the carpark but you are paying for the food experience not the ambiaence.
The restaurant is furnished with traditional Indian benches and adorned with Indian writings on the walls. The seating is well spaced out, creating a comfortable dining experience, and the music playing in the background is delicately heard.
