Al Pesto - Hobsons Bay

We bought it once and what can I say we didn't eat it, maybe it was a bad night of making pizzas. They a definitely not gourmet but just a round piece of dough with quantity toppings on it. Sorry it's a big no for me but do try it for yourself as everyone has different taste buds and expectations. The interior surroundings of the premises is very tired.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 25 years with our family. It has not changed in that time. The decor is old, the coffee machine has never worked but the food is always fantastic. The owner is always friendly and welcoming. Can be quite entertaining on a busy night. It is a place you need to frequent to get a proper feel. cash only

Our second visit. great pizza and friendly owner. drop in for a chat with the locals. price is great too.

The place is rundown the owner is rude, she hangs up the phone halfway talking to her has a old lady working in the back of kitchen No manners and bad language,pizzas are average and cheap but she is always looking at the window worried about debt collectors and health inspectors never going back again

It's a bit rough around the edges but good food and great price, it has a great atmosphere it's very different to any other place you'll eat at but you need to know the back ground before you judge
