A surprisingly large joint. Many good beer on tap though, many craft brewery and BUDVAR must be so, right? I had no food (as I really would) but her kitchen is usually open, so you could see that everything is being prepared. Looks good, so that's a victory. If you think about a visit, just do it. Cash only! They accept EUR but will give you change in CZK! Great selection of mostly Czech craft beers on tap on 3 different levels of the establishment. Snacks and food are great as well (we've tried the burger, ribs, fried cheese, pickled sausage, picked chili cheese everything was great). Staff is welcoming and attentive. Prices are reasonable. One of the best bars in Prague so far.
It was something different from the overcrowded touristic restaurants you can find in the city center. No one will stare at you with a serious face asking for a tip, the food is not cooked the day before and served in 3 minutes (you can’t even make a salad in 3 minutes), the staff was very friendly, human. That was the most genuine food experience I had in Prague.
Came to this place with close to no expectations as I'm not much into beer, more so Czech beer. It ended up being very pleasant surprise. They got some ciders and wine as well, and selection of soft drinks and liquors, kitchen runs till 9:30 PM. The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff is absolutely terrific. If you're in the area and looking for a place for a meal or a drink, give this place a try.
Pub with great food and beer! The schnitzel was especially good. They were playing some pretty good metal too!
Great traditional Czech pub with a wooden interior and an interesting changing beer selection. The food is good but the chicken burger is absolutely outstanding.
