Consistency is a valuable quality. My wife and I have chosen to dine at this restaurant for several reasons. First, the owner greets us warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly atmosphere. What Danny Smith doesn't like about Ichiban Japanese Steak House:
We have been going to itchibans for over 15 years. The last two times we have watched the chef scrape the burned egg, which used to be pushed to the trash, to include in the rice. In total we have seen 3 chefs do this. In other words when they cook the egg...for 15 years and every other Japanese steak house included has scraped away and trashed the burned egg where it cooked. Oh cheese and crab... I love you. Loves fried cheese and crabs. Tea is terrible and well drink refills are flat. Sushi and service are excellent.
Pricey but..... The food is excellent! It has been a long time since I have eaten here but it was great.
Been coming here for almost 20 years. Best Hibachi in town, best staff in town. Extremely friendly, great prices, and good memories here!!
The chef was heavy handed with the salt food was literally inedible. And I asked for medium steak, even asked when I saw it being overcooked asked that mine be pulled off, I was ignored!
Our favorite local hibachi place. Food is delicious and consistent every single time. Very friendly staff.
