Blane's Drive Inn - Hilo

Blanes was very yummy! Loved their prices. Employees were great. Definitely will be going back.

The greasy spoon is ok, but portions are small, the service is antagonistic at best, you have to beg for an extra stick of butter or jam, the price is equal to that of dine in restaurants.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing. The person who took our order said we had to leave and couldn’t eat outside. Ended up tailgating because we weren’t allowed to sit at the table on the covered porch. Staff was not friendly and seems they appeared to have places to go more important than us, their customers. We will not ne back!

Love your food. their sushi swimmers are a must. the Bengos are yummy. the counter staff is ingenious. I love how she has the patience with the older deaf grandpa.
