Delicious food with lots of food and drink variety without an exhaustive menu. The atmosphere is beautiful and music was low enough to have a conversation. Would visit again! View all feedback.
What Alicia Midland doesn't like about The Nomad At The Osbunn:
I wanted to try The Nomad for a while and went this week for my birthday dinner. Our appetizer (Thai cauliflower) came out quickly, well before our cocktails. The southern mule cocktail tasted like straight club soda with none of the depth of flavors mentioned. Our entrees were quick to arrive as well the garlic ramen noodle dish was good and the Thai steak bowl needed more veg to justify the price. The biggest probl... View all feedback.
Delicious food. Started with the cauliflower app and the beef wonton app. Ordered butter chicken for dinner. The waiter was knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely return for dinner soon.
My wife and I had been searching for a good place for dinner tonight and just happened to stroll by after a long wait at a few other stops. We are glad we did! Wife had probably the best fish and chips we?ve had, and I thoroughly enjoyed their chicken shawarma ? just the right amount of heat. Great food and service great restaurant!
Since they opened up for takeout in the midst of a pandemic we have been enjoying the amazing food from Nomad. We were so excited to see that they were finally opening up the dining room for properly socially distanced dinner. The space is gorgeous and a wonderful addition to downtown Hillsborough. We started with drinks; we tried the Palomo (a gin take on the classic), and the pineapple sage jalapeño vodka cocktail. They were both delicious and refreshing. For appetizers we had the Red Thai cauliflower, which is one of the best dishes I?ve had from Nomad (that saying something because everything is so good), and the Puruvian chicken kolaches. Both were big hits with the group. For main courses my wife had the spiced pork bowl, which had been her go to for takeout, and I had the Besan Battered Cod tacos while my Brother in law had the ropa vieja tacos. Everything was as tasty as we have come to expect from the Nomad kitchen. Keep up the great work and welcome to Hilsborough Nomad. So happy to have you.
A wonderful fusion of world cuisine, and a regularly changing menu with several staples, and vegetarian friendly. The dining room is open and airy, but I almost always order takeout It is super convenient. You can easily make a meal out of appetizers. I love the Thai cauliflower with its gentle heat and touch of coconut, The dumplings are wonderful, in the samosas some of the best I've had. For main courses, signature bowls are all excellent, but I often go for the fish and chips they are wonderfully well cooked and seasoned. Highly recommended for a night out in Hilzbro.
Even we used to live in Boston, we still strongly recommend this fish and chips!!! The fish is cooked perfectly with the crunchiness. The Thai curry was also out of my mind! I asked for extra spicy, if you like spicy as me, don?t miss it!
