Very nice place to have dinner. I sat at the bar since I was alone. Shannon was my waitress/bartender I would say and she did a fantastic job with recommendations, I very much appreciated her input on everything. I had a couple flights of the local brewery?s in the area and 8/10 did not disappoint. I had the PB&J Burger with bacon and it was probably one of the best I?ve had in my whole traveling career. What Veda Ankunding doesn't like about Copper River Restaurant Bar:
overpriced for what we have received. we ordered calamari (greasy and rubber, but the aoli was good,) fish and chips (fries were cold and dressing on koleslaw was terrible,) reube sandwich (dough, tasteless grained bark and was apparently cooked in hamburger fat on the flat side.) server was rarely seen, but this is expected on a Saturday evening. we had good food here, but we won't be back. there are other places th... This is a great place to eat. Menu is not ten pages long, but it has everything essential that fish and meat options go. I also like the big list of beers, wines and cocktails. Service was great and the staff was attentive and friendly. It's one of my favorite places to eat. Very recommended! Revisited with a few guests. The service was great as always. Salmon and steel headdressers were really delicious. Brownies, cream brulee and cheesecake were also amazing. Portions of desserts are much larger compared to the ducks. All right. Must be about $45 per person who is not too bad considering the overall quality.

I was absolutely shook at how good it was. Very good choice for dinner. I will definitely come back and visit before my departure from Portland. Management should definitely look at hiring another waitress for the dining area to take some of the work load off for these ladies.
Took my family here to try it for the first time. The service we received from the waitress was horrible. The store manager hacked in on us more than our waitress, that is bad in my eyes. I work in the service industry so I understand how important it is to get them tips. Because of that reason we still left her a little bit of a tip. It could?ve of been a lot more if her service as up to par. Not once was we offered to have our water refilled or topped off. It took forever to get the food. My wife asked for dressing for her salad and never got it, so she didn?t eat it. The meatloaf my wife had was horrible and the salmon I ordered had no flavor. It was as bland as it gets! How you mess up salmon is beyond me. I will give them the second star because we liked the manager. He was really nice and checked in on us. Needless to say that was the first and last time we will ever eat there. Next time we?ll try BJ?s across the parking lot!!!
We went during happy hours on Friday night. The food and ambience was really good. We ordered crispy buttermilk chicken tenderloins, california roll, salt and pepper calamari, grilled chicken sandwich and stuffed salmon.
The atmosphere was pretty nice at Copper River. I really liked the lighting and the design elements of the room. It was very crowded, mostly because it's Valentine's weekend, but we were able to take a seat at the bar with no wait. The bartender was extremely friendly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The poke stack appetizer was interesting and tasty. And our main entrees of a ribeye and a french dip sandwich were both very tasty. Super cocktails as well. I would definitely go back here for a date night. There were a few things that took this from a 5 star experience to a 4 star, but they weren't bad enough to deter me from coming back. I would recommend.
