The Happy Hawg Bbq - Hiawassee

Absolutely fantastic! The food is incredible. We dined at the Estuary on Friday night and then enjoyed our leftovers at a family gathering on Sunday. I'm already looking forward to our next visit! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and you can really see that the owner takes pride in the food, the team, and the service. I highly recommend it—definitely the best restaurant in Hiawassee!

Small building, big taste! Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful. The meat was perfectly cooked, no extra seasoning needed – the ribs were simply delicious on their own. I also sampled the turkey and sausage, which were both excellent. The beans and steakhouse potato salad were quite tasty as well, and the garlic bread was cooked just right. They offer three sauces: a sweet and mild one, a South Carolina vinegar sauce, and a North Carolina mustard-based sauce. All were good, but the NC mustard really stood out to me. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere felt warm and inviting, like dining with a friend.
