Contribute FeedbackPeter punishes us again on Usedom with a rainy weather. So we drive by car to Peenemünde and look at the remains of the darkest German history. But such a museum visit also makes hungry. We choose the Pomeranian court in the hope of illuminating the day at least in a culinary manner. The Pommersche Hof is centrally located in Heringsdorf on the square of peace. The hotel is an impressive two-storey, white construction with an extended roof lap in the Kaiserbad style. The restaurant on the ground floor is a conservatory in front of which the hotel's outdoor restaurants are located. The guest area is modernly furnished. The walls are partly wood-coated to more than three quarters of height. Blue-green patterned carpet contrasted to white ceiling. In various niches, beige, patterned benches and equally related basket braid chairs group around dark, white covered tables. The large guest room is divided by several semi-high space separators and mirrored columns. The furnishing of the guest room is not uniform. In one area, white covered tables group basket braid chairs with red covers, in another area comfortable dark brown high-rests with beige-colored covers. Winter garden In the conservatory with the wide glass front towards the square of peace and the glass roof, the red chairs dominate at the white covered tables. When we enter the Pommerschen Hof, two travel companies are currently being provided. Nevertheless, we find a free table right in front of the niche on the first picture above. We feel well here, the ambience is not the sound, but you can sit here comfortably. We give four stars for the ambience. A young man serves us the night. At first he gives himself a little locked, you might think that he had contact difficulties. But in the course of the evening he is baptized and open. He understands his craftsmanship. He serves us kindly and attentively, asks whether the food is okay and whether it has tasted or tasted us. He has a lot to do with cleanup when the travel companies break up. The salad dressing consists of Radicchio and Frisee with a sour cream dressing. The fresh carrot salad is made with vinegar and oil. In addition, there are two cucumber slices and two tomato rolls in the salad decoration. Rumpsteak from the Pomeranian pasture bark, with a shallot-champignon-ragoût and rosemary On my plate there is a handsome rag steak on a stretchy portion of rosemary. A salad decoration of three different leaf salad varieties and a slice of herbal butter are next to potatoes and meat. At Gargrad, the kitchen didn't hit my Rumpsteak, which I ordered medium. The steak is more medium-rare than medium. But I don't mind. I also like to eat a **** pink steak. The steak tastes very good with the herbal butter. The rosemary flakes are very well prepared. They seem to have been in the pan longer than my wife's roast potatoes. I like to eat them so well. The Champignon-Schalotten-Ragoût, which has been poured over the rosemary flakes, has an aromatic taste and refined the rosemary potato flavor. Both my wife's court and my court are a little strangled. We season with salt and pepper. We agree that the dishes have been prepared by craftsmanship, that they have tasted and that, except for the preparation of roast potatoes, there is nothing that could have been made decisively better.
