Food was not bad, just a little bit slow service and they do not like dogs. To answer the owners question, No we have been there without dog, as there are dozens of signs on your door and everywhere, that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. What Coffee House doesn't like about Du Val Des Dix:
more than an hour and a half waiting to be able to eat. Portions not generous The burger was good but the fries were soggy, probably from the day before. All this was certainly not worth 32 CHF. Poor organization in the kitchen. View all feedback.
Great spot for a beer and lunch in the sunshine after touring over from Mont Fort, Verbier. Nice food and friendly service. Impressive view of the dam. Alas the 14:10 bus didn’t show up but a friendly local lady gave us lift to Les Masses to rejoin the lift system and head back to Verbier
We love to go there, they prepare croute au fromage as we like, with milk instead of wine and always prepare a special little plate for our daughter. we are vegetarians so the standard fries/nuggets dont do. portions are generous and food is tasty. sometimes there are some locals around singing songs, merrily after a day out on the pasture, it is a very warm atmosphere. they are always helpful to tourists that go to them for information on accommodation and activities even if their english is (very) poor. permanent good service
Nice place and great view on the grand dixense. Food and service ok. Slightly below standard

Would be the same as it kids wouldn't be allowed and they make usually more noise and dirt then a dog.
Tourist money grab on the way to the grande dixence. To avoid. Terrible service, more than 1 hour to get our food. The rosti were disgusting. The fondue of my friends was made in a caquelon which was obviously not cleaned before.
