The Daylesford Hotel - HEPBURN SPRINGS

In a cold winters afternoon, there is nothing better than having a beer and meal in a country pub. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Meals were a little pricey but not too bad.

Had roast beef Sunday lunch. I struggle to find a good Sunday roast when travelling in Oz but this one ticked all the boxes. Got a table right next to the roaring fire too. Winter bliss.

Lovely atmosphere, they gave us an unexpected free tasting platter. The menu catered for both adults and kids. The open fire was warm and the service was very friendly.

On our weekend away we had a really great chicken parma, it was beautiful chicken and very tasty with great chips! The staff were very friendly and put the rugby on for my husband without hesitation. We walked around the next day looking for a late lunch spot and ended up back here as they serve all day & we knew it was good! They did not disappoint, we ate in the public bar & another parma for my husband and a burger for me!! The burger was fantastic - juicy, tasty & not too hard to eat!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink whilst staying in Daylesford on the weekend. The pub is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. We had a local cider and local pale ale and the service was warm and friendly. We sat by the fire and it was really great. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great too. Next time we are in the area we are definitely going to stop in for lunch or dinner.
