I love this place. My only negative and why I don't give 5 stars is I wish their lunch menu had more vegetarian options. That's the only downfall. Their Wednesday bagel special is awesome for any office and they are quick and fresh. I have yet to be disappointed. View all feedback.
What Tom Melvin doesn't like about Joey's Bagels Fletcher:
Staff are 5+ stars. Great people. Execution/consistency is the problem. I love extra cream cheese on my bagels, but they put so much on it’s often all you can taste and the bagel slices will slip off with each bite. If you order a breakfast sandwich, the amount of egg to protein and cheese is overwhelming. Most of the time that’s all you can taste. And most flavored bagels are baked with minimal amount of ingredients... View all feedback.
I was headed to Ashville and had to stop for gas. I had intended to run in a grab a snack at the gas station. As I was pumping gas I looked over and saw Joey's. And quickly decided that was a better option. Im intently looking over this huge board and all its options. There is a line forming behind me..so I go with what a know. Cinnamon and raisin with extra butter. I go sit down and wait for my name to be called. Inside is non descriptive. Nothing fancy. Not a lot of tables. 2 large ones on the side and about 3 or 4 small ones in front that seem to be occupied by customers waiting for their order. Now they do have breakfast fixings and smears for the bagels as well as bagel sandwiches. They call out my name and holy heck balls..this thing is as big as a baby's head!!! And delish. Not to crisp..not too chewy. Just perfect. And butter every where. Just the way I like it. They are located just off the highway and have plenty of parking. So you can grab a yummalish bagel and be on your way to where ever it is your going!

If you order a breakfast sandwich, the amount of egg to protein and cheese is overwhelming. Most of the time that’s all you can taste. And most flavored bagels are baked with minimal amount of ingredients. You will get one or two noticeable bites of blue berry or Asiago cheese in an entire bagel, while the everything is mostly sesame and a little poppy seed, and tastes just as bland. Coffee is good for what it’s worth. You really want to like this place and keep coming back, but lack of quality and consistency make that hard.
Good bagles, however I went twice and both times they didn't wuite know what they had. Other than that it was really good
The site was very easy to navigate and order The checkout time that was provided was accurate The food was very tasty and filling my wife got the Lox Bagel (delicious) and I got the breakfast sandwich (also delicious). The potato salad was worth going back for seconds. The service was fast and courteous
Not just bagels. Lunch sandwiches are off the charts delicious. Holy cow..I chose the bacon and sour cream potato salad as my side. I could eat a tub of that stuff. Bagels served all day too. Soooo so good.
