original restaurant in former wine cellar. beautifully decorated, as in Greece. Appetizer (knoblauchbrot and tzaziki) delicious.Main dishes very tasty and large portions. price absolutely appropriate.Leider a little long wait time on dessert and until the money has been picked up. What Patrick Allard doesn't like about Restaurant Dionysos:
we were 7 people and one of the few guests in the restaurant. the service came and has not spoken any whole sets, but always only: please? etc. came over very unfriendly. then wanted to eat and order drinks at the same time, but after the beverage order, they simply ran away. the food came very fast and also tasted very well. the service just didn't come any more, though we wanted to have a drink. then asked about th... Dionysos is a warm and friendly restaurant with fine Greek food on a tree-lined street on the edge of downtown. Efficient service and large portions of high quality food make this a go to place. The décor, while a bit overdone, doesn't detract and the Greek music at just the right volume provides an Aegean ambiance in southwestern Germany. The grilled octopus was delicious, if a bit too anatomical since composed of large tentacles. While the mixed grill, rice, Greek salad, bread, tzatziki, and Retsina were good, but not outstanding, they were all as expected and just what I wanted to warm my soul.
I was very please with the saganaki, ap combo, and combo plate for to serve our group of More than enough.
We were 7 people and one of the few guests in the restaurant. the service came and has not spoken any whole sets, but always only: please? etc. came over very unfriendly. then wanted to eat and order drinks at the same time, but after the beverage order, they simply ran away. the food came very fast and also tasted very well. the service just didn't come any more, though we wanted to have a drink. then asked about the bill (load was almost complete now). that also took 15 minutes. we got another round ouzo. they put the bill and just went though we wanted to pay with card. we then proceeded and paid by card and left. all in all, really good eating but does not really fun at such a service, pity!
Were once again there in the januar, always like to come again. The hot dish is mega, also brot with garlic cream. for one alone this is almost enough, to two absolutely perfect as an appetizer. after that my wife has eaten lamb in Metaxa sauce and I gyros. not suitable for a small pouch, but the quality of the food compensates that completely.
A typical Greek dining place in the inner city of heilbronn. it lives from the attentiveness and friendliness of the Greek host. through its charm, it can make up much, which is not so perfect in the service or quality of eating. Once the service is alone, everything goes on and one notices that the foods used are qualitatiw bad, the portioning pommes, salat or tzatziki are very small, often very fat meat is used or grilled. you are hardly considered to be a guest after the first order. there's no one here to reorder something. even if you get up and go to the kick. Instead, the waiter sits in the next room and smokes or eats. He doesn't come when he sees you waiting for the kick. the toilet rooms make a sticky impression. Besides the clo itself little is cleaned there. this is a pity, because the local itself lies in a rustic cellar vault. there is totally much (maybe a little too much) decoration. that makes the special flair. in autumn/winter is sometimes slightly heated and you have to dress warm. Nevertheless, we go there more often and hope that the quality will improve again. Previously, there was nothing to complain about quality. but now an salad is often so micky that you would call it more than decoration. parking is difficult at the weekend.
