Mamma Leone - Heidelberg

During the day we visited the heidelberger zoo and eating there is terrible bad. So we decided to go somewhere to eat. our friend has just gogled "Italian restaurants" and found this, it was near the zoos, so we decided to go there. it is not easy to park around the restaurant, but we had luck and found a place. the waiter was very nice and when we arrived, the restaurant was empty (again 17.30 clock). we got an appetizer (bruschetta), it was very good. then came spargel soup (lecker, a little salty but tasty), our sohn got a half portion spaghetti bolognese (he ate everything, it was really perfect), I had a risotto with bark (more than perfect) and a glass of primitivo wine (ahhhhh, amazing). the tiramisu was too sweet to me, but my man was thrilled. overall we were very satisfied with our food. we would like to thank them once again for their ease and excellent evening meal. :) and of course we will come back;)

We came from frankfurt to visit the zoo in the city, and decided to eat here after the long day with the family to evening. immediately at the arrival the waiter came out to help us park our car at the right place. he was extremely helpful throughout the evening / service and recommended us the right things. he also managed to eat half a portion for the children, even if it was not “official” on the menu. (he also speaks German, English, Italian). eating is just perfect, take what they want, they can't do anything wrong. all according to Italian art no eating what we tried was in German. just as you imagine a perfect Italian food. salat, pasta, suppe, dessert: everything super tasty and tasty. wein selection also super. the place is extremely clean (even the rest rooms), mineral water also Italian. the chef himself came out at the end of eating to shake the hands and say goodbye. all in all, we will definitely come back and a highly recommended hotel if they are looking for a perfect value for money that is also family-friendly. well done!

The place is elegant and quiet, the owner very nice, as well as the waiter. we have taken a very good pizza in German, the pasta is just as good, a little less the risotto that reveals the southern origin of the owner. the desserts are good, the beer is always excellent and the last element is not expensive.

After the cone we were there with 8 people in the evening. we had reserved for security we were kindly received. the garderobe was taken from us by the waiter.The diner cards were quickly brought, but we were able to pick up time in rest.As a greeting from the kitchen there was a small piece of delicious pizza.The most varied dishes were ordered and all were very satisfied with the amount and especially taste.I had spagetti di mare. very tasty, the mussels with bowl and an extra plate to put them on it. the waiter very pungent, but not intrusive.The facility we found cozy.It will certainly be the last eating in the mamma leone after the cone.

As far as my pizza taste is concerned, I am demanding and mamma leone has hit my taste exactly. the pizza dough is crispy and perfect. when it comes to the ply, it is tasted that only fresh and high-quality ingredients were used. the chef is very nice and there was also a tasty bruschetta with aromatic tomato and basilikum for free (meaning under the week), since you also make a prize as a student.
