Since the pandemic, we were previously limited to ordering in the entrance foyer. Now, we are able to dine inside and place our orders. It's best to call ahead and place your order to minimize wait time. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean, and the owners are kind and friendly. View all feedback.
What Deborah Abigail Herbert doesn't like about Great Asian Wok:
The chicken wings had feathers still to them. Yuck. I ordered chicken wings with fries, general tso chicken w pork rice, beef broccoli w pork rice. Coming from Houston, TX, I can say this is not authentic chinese food , it tastes like frozen food, mixed with sauce. The pork rice tasted so bad, yellow flavorless rice with itsy pieces of 'pork '. What a waste of $31. Food went straight to the trash, after tasting it. View all feedback.
The food was good. I tried something I usually don't order, so it's hard to review something that I ate for the first time. That being said, I didn't like the food, and the atmosphere seemed cleaned, and quiet ? I would certainly try again, but this time with my usual order for Chinese food. Then, I can compare and contrast. Parking: Free parking on the right of the property. There's also parking in front. Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't notice anything inhibiting a wheelchair from entering the establishment!
It is a very clean place and the food is very good ? Parking: Two options on the street or in the parking lot

Searching in my town, after living in Philadelphia and Allentown, I thought I would never find a Chinese Restaurant in Hazleton that came close to what I was used to.The Great Asian Wok was a gem. Excellent authentic and tasteful menu selections. Do yourself a favor and try it. You will not be disappointed.
