Had a nice Sunday dinner today. eat large and good portion sizes too. my wife had Roast-Rind and all circumcisions with a side of cauliflower cheese, while I ha... read more Had a nice Sunday dinner today. eat large and good portion sizes too. my wife had Roast-Rind and all circumcisions with a side of cauliflower cheese, while I had the bratglocke with a pickle sauce and cracked. delicious. we both have with banana beetle with heel and crumble for the desert. a great end to a great meal. we would definitely recommend the talbot!

We visited The Talbot for the first time as looked so nice and cosy from the outside but restaurant felt more like a canteen with no atmosphere, cheap furniture... read more We visited The Talbot for the first time as looked so nice and cosy from the outside but restaurant felt more like a canteen with no atmosphere, cheap furniture and lighting too bright. Artwork I saw was also pretty pointless and didn't add anything to it! Risotto with red cabbage and goats cheese was tasteless and didn't look appetising at all. The steak in pie was very chewy and inedible! The young lady who served us was excellent though and attentive and the bar to the front was cosy but we didn't stay long as we weren't in the mood for a dj
