Excellent service, delicious food, good atmosphere and a wide variety of food. I like the noodles here mostly because they have the same taste as eating in Thailand. Price is not expensive and is a restaurant that is suitable for everyone, family-style or a group of friends. View all feedback.
They have someone out on George St selling prepackaged takeaway boxes for $5. I tried this at first and found this not value for money as it was mainly rice with a little bit of chicken and heaps of green curry sauce. I did however decide to give this another go and dine in downstairs. I opted to choose from the premade food (3 choices for I think $8.50 from memory). The fried chicken was tasty and still crunchy although covered in a sweet & spicy sauce. The other 2 dishes were not too bad. My friends dish looked slightly different compared to the picture, there seemed to be more duck on the picture compared to what was actually served. This place is huge and they should try to offer more usual lunch specials like other Thai places around the corner (eg: curries, noodles & soups for under $10) to remain competitive and also cater for lunchtime workers and students.

It's been three years since I last had the pleasure of dining in The Strand Arcade at La Rosa.
The restaurant is upstairs of the strand and is almost like a hidden restaurant amongst the stores.
