What Laurie R D doesn't like about Giuseppe's:
Inside was cold. Service was friendly but very slow. Food was only OK. The rounded back of the chairs leaves no place to hang your purse. We just weren't impressed. View all feedback.

It is 1990’s era , or early 2000’s. I would like an italian restaurant to feel as cozy as the food, if you know what I mean. The interior here is sterile. I think this restaurant has a great location and a great exterior so if they just update the interior then I think Haymarket would have a real gem.
Best bartender in the game, Adrian! Food is always excellent. See me here weekly
Went to celebrate my wife's Birthday, once we announced it at the host station, all employees who served us wished her, and our waiter Jared also served Teramesu on a very decorative styled plate on him, but no staff singing or candle, which was okay bit expected. Jared took care of all our needs and was very efficient and a humble man. We enjoyed Jared interaction and his professionalism, and he was well dressed. Thanks, Jared, and the team for making her day, bartenderalso made wonderful drinks. The food was well plated and decorative and very delicious.

Gave Giuseppe’s another chance but have finally given up based on our last dining experience there. Inexperienced servers, huge and poorly presented entrees, price inconsistencies and a total lack of any type of minimum dress code, so you might as well be at the beach. The owner apparently does not care, since one of us reached out to him directly based on our last unsatisfactory experience with no adjustment whatsoever being offered. Acoustic guitar player who showed up last evening without his promised band was inconsistent with what had been promised, and he proceeded to rattle off four annoying Buffet songs in a row, which only seemed all too consistent with the way the diners look and behave during dinner, which is likewise very annoying. Anyone who believes they are experiencing authentic or very quality Italian are either misled or fooling themselves. There remains a lack of adult supervision in this restaurant, and dining patrons seem to care about as much as does this restaurant in terms of maintaining a quality and enjoyable dining experience. Beware that on our bill that Giuseppe’s charges a credit card fee and penalize patrons for not using cash!
