Stone Manor 101 - Hawthorne

I had one of my departments holiday parties here and it was great. The steak, Salmon and all the food we ordered were delicious and the customer service was outstanding! They have multiple desserts that we will be returning to sample in the New Year. Michael and his team did a fantastic job. Wonderful catering hall. The staff is super attentive and the food we had was top notch. Plenty of space for a nice event, elevator access, and bathrooms located close to party space. Acoustics were difficult; but it may just have been a really loud party.

My only complaint is that the the New Year's Eve party starts and ends very late. My opinion, cocktail hour should be from 7 to 8:30 and then dinner and dancing should be from 8:30 to 1 a.m... Other than that I love the food here. And the service is fantastic .

We were there for Valentine's Day. We had the swordfish which was at best average. The fish had a fishy taste, as if it was frozen and not fresh. The noise level was quite high and service was mediocre. They could have used more servers.

We were very disappointed in our dining experience at Stone Manor. This was the second time we visited and there was a marked decline in the experience from the first visit. There was no flare about any aspect of the restaurant- the service was mediocre at best, the food was ok, but simply slapped on the plate and the wine by the glass offerings were appalling. We will not be returning.
