No one was there to welcome us when we arrived, and we stood at the front waiting for a wed to arrive, which was about 5 minutes. once sitting, our server had zero personality and did not look very happy. I can usually make someone smile, but she didn't. it looks like most employees looked unhappy. maybe they are underused, but the service was mediocre for such a beautiful place. the food was good and had a great amb... The decor is calm and comfortable. The food selection is very seasonal. Quality and look was very good. The wine selection is extensive and a bit pricey.
Setting is beautiful. All staff were courteous and attentive.
The Settlers Inn is a beautiful place. We loved the setting and dining room. The menu was quite limitedfor breakfast. Our eggs, potatoes and bacon were good. The grounds are wonderful. Will try dinner next time.
Piano was beautiful. Food was delicious. Corn soup was superb along with the smoked fish appetizer. Scallop entree was cooked perfectly. We were one of the last late tables to be served from the kitchen and everything was still prepared to standard. Ambiance was relaxed and romantic but the piano player kept the music fun and light. We will be back!
