While some visitors praise the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, others lament the drop in cleanliness and food quality, highlighting dirty tables and subpar menu items. The shift to a self-service system and cashless transactions has left many feeling disconnected, sparking concerns among regulars, particularly the elderly. Although the coffee and certain dishes, like avocado toast, have received commendations, there are hints of disappointment regarding the overall dining experience. Ultimately, this once beloved café faces critical choices to regain its former charm.
Good caffe in the tesco extra store. they serve food during the day and the prices are appropriate. they order at the counter, but food is brought on their table. I was here and couldn't get anything because all the tables were in the stake, or that was waiting for eating was ridiculously long. 45 minutes for eating caffe is not ideal.
Great little cosey café. the staff is very friendly. Eating and drinks were before place to wait long. clean and spacious inside, I noticed how tables were deleted and cleaned quite quickly after customers left. hopefully a regular stop for us.
I really like the place, the sandwiches are inexpensive. it has a beautiful vintage style, but it feels kind of like this cheap super market caffe. the personal is beautiful, and this caffe is simply opened as they are constantly closed the decks.
We had breakfast, the best quality in the city. nice eating and well presented. very happy.
Great food, could've been warmer but the food came fast. Regular breakfasts were great, as for the kids they ordered sausage and chip, blueberry pancakes and my eldest ordered ham and cheese toasties. All say it was great and filling. My teen added the cheese on the cheese toasties was a bit odd, but he is so it was fine. Sauces were provided and a great range of drinks. Would come again but wish it used to be the old carvery
