This visit was a bit disappointing, but every other time has been great! On this occasion, our pizzas arrived cold and slightly undercooked. When I called to report this, I was told that I was too far away from them. I ended up putting the pizza in the oven, and it turned out well after just 20 minutes. What Michael Rowarth doesn't like about Pizzarelli:
Ordered a takeaway recently from Pizzarelli and I was not impressed. The Margherita had a nice flavour and plenty of cheese, but only had two cherry tomatoes and three basil leaves. The base was overcooked and it had a chewy crust. The padrino again had a nice flavour, but the pizza was ruined by the burnt black base that overided the taste of the toppings. A rustic little restaurant, only pizzas, but oh my, they know how to make them good. house wine is really great. service great and price even better. a fab finds in st leonards on the main road to hastings.
Hands down the best pizza in town. Our go to treat when we don’t want to cook. Fast delivery and Pizza’s always fresh and hot
By far 1 of the best pizzas around...nice place to sit and enjoy a great pizza....they do the real thing...proper pizza...thin crust as it should be..very fresh and always tastey...
WOW WOW WOW.. this pizza exceeded every expectation... it was an absolute dream. Reasonable prices and wonderful staff... I can’t wait to go back.. I had the garlic and herb as extras and the VEGANO. With artichoke hearts, sundried tomato’s vegan cheese and an amazing Smokey bbq dip ... TAKE ME BACk! Sometimes when the place you wanted is CLOSED it’s your angels trying to get you to find the best Pizza ever
These are by far our fave pizzas in the area fresh, loads of flavour, never greasy plus a great selection of options on the menu. We love you Pizzarelli, couldn't recommend enough xxxxx
