I stayed here for bed, breakfast and evening meal with our daughter. Breakfast has everything you need, cooked or other wise. We had a three course dinner which was beautifully presented and delicious. The service by waiters Deana and Steven was first class. Can highly recommend it for a special occasion. View all feedback.
What 236millieh doesn't like about Conservatory:
The scallops were undercooked, the lamb was greasy and cold, and they sneakily charged us £4.75 for a small bottle of water. The outdated stereo in the corner played cheesy music, making the atmosphere feel cheap. While the outdoor seating was nice, it was first come, first served, and despite making a reservation, we were seated inside. Overall, the food was not worth the price and was disappointing. My friend and I have visited the Bannatyne Hotel twice now and all food and service has been excellent. Well presented, varied, tasteful and staf are so polite and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was lovely, great experience would most certainly come back. service was great, didnt get the girls name but our waitress was very efficient and proffesional. would recommend to anyone
From special occasions to going somewhere with a special difference I recommend this restaurant. Lovely food, beautifully presented.
We stayed at this hotel for a valentines weekend, the room they took us to had all bumps in the carpet and was totally unacceptable so we were offered an upgrade for an additional £20 per night. Our deal as Bannantynes members included a 5 course valentines meal, wish we hadn't bothered the food was terrible, service took ages, the food was cold and had obviously been prepared in advance as all the coulis was stuck to the plate, sadly we chose the duck with pancakes imagine our surprise when this arrived with pancake day pancakes! All in all not a good experience. Bannantynes response this restaurant is not fine dining, tell us something we dont know...please do not book this restaurant if you are expecting a nice dining experience...find somewhere else.
