Omjesus I brought a sandwich of them and it was shaped. The good thing is that he gave me my $5 without any problems and gave me $5 in gas!!
Eataly brings Italy to you. It's a bunch of Italian shops and restaurants under one roof. You will find everything from fresh cheese, meat and pastas to olive oil, canned and dried pasta. You have a great Italian wine selection. I was here several times for events. We made a wine and cheese tasting and a wine a pair of meals. The problem with the events is that they are oversold. There are just too many people who can really experience eating and drinking. If not for this problem, I would give 5 stars. What I really love is they have a few restaurants in them. It is fun to try a few and get various dishes. This last time we came, there were no events and it was really nice to go and shop and get a table right in the restaurant. I wish I had lived closer so I could get some dinner.
We decided to eat in La Pizza La Pasta as we had trusted the high ratings of this place. DELISH. Service is great and was greeted with fresh bread. We choose the handmade pasta and it was SO GOOD! Thinly perfectly cooked pasta and the taste was so good! I must have come back to Italy. You can't eat here for a day and want us to come back soon! Next time I want to buy some Italian snacks, cookies, cheese and crackers, then back to the hotel! Also loved the hazelnut chocolate gelato!!!
This was such a wonderful spot for lunch! Eataly has the marketplace culture of a large space with multiple food vendors, shops, and bars. The Marketplace model is heavily done in Denver, where I live, so I wasn 't immediately impressed (though you absolutely would be if you 're not used to this! . However, Eataly did have some things that helped it stand out from this new restaurant trend, and I was also told it was one of the first marketplaces built! For one, the building is much more opulent than trendy. Chandeliers, cute sayings, and incredibly well maintained, the space really maximizes its ability to be beautiful. Another thing I noticed is that it looked like their stall-style food vendors were offering really quality items. The butcher had some burgers I almost wanted to ship back home to grill! The other thing that really sets Eataly apart from spaces like it is that there are multiple sit down restaurants within the space, offering a nicer version of marketplace food. We sat in the La Pizza La Pasta restaurant towards the back of the second floor, and I was really impressed with the ambiance of the space. Large windows, clean and trendy tables and decor, and a beautifully presented bread basket made this feel like a really nice lunch. Service was not great. A little distant, unfriendly, and distracted. Nothing terrible, but definitely the biggest detractor from the experience. We ordered the Tagliatelle based on our servers recommendation, and the ziti based on our craving. The tagliatelle was AMAZING! It was definitely the standout for my friend and I. Delicious, homemade pasta with generous servings of beef and a light sauce, we craved it and ate the leftovers before the end of the day. We were told the ziti is served al dente prior to ordering, to make sure we were okay with a firmer pasta, and boy we were! The texture of the pasta was the best part of the dish. An amazing sauce and hunks of mozzarella didn 't hurt, though. Wine was a bit pricey here, but it seemed on point with the other restaurants in the area. Plan on about $15 a glass. Overall I would definitely return here. It wasn 't a stand out restaurant but the pasta was fantastic and the space is great. I wouldn 't reserve this spot as your nice dinner joint if you 're visiting from out of town, but eating here for lunch was perfect. I would have given five stars if the service was more friendly, but our experience there could have been a one off. Come try it and at the very least split your favorite pasta dish!
Italian beefs are great, but the Prime Rib Sandwich at Eataly is INCREDIBLE. How they make such a simple sandwich (bread, sliced prime rib, olive oil, sea salt pepper) taste so freaking good is mind-boggling. I probably have one once a year, but I wish I could have this once a week. The first time we tried it, we hadn't even finished our first bite before we ordered 2 more. Pick up a container of the Amaretto Honey before your next dinner party. Paired with a hard Italian or French cheese, this honey is a knockout! This isn't the place to do every day grocery shopping but it's awesome for specialty products, delicious meals unique classes.
