This was my second time here in recent history and the food was excellent. I got the Mexican pizza and it was delicious. The service was quick and our waitress was courteous. She seemed to be the only waitress and had a relatively full restaurant, but did very well at ensuring we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back. View all feedback.
The vegetarian menu is not vegetarian at all because most of the items come with rice, which is a traditional Mexican rice with chicken broth. I knew about traditional Mexican food, so I wanted to ask. they harass a corner of a side as vegetarian and go to the lengths of making fried beans without lard (pig fat,) but make the rice without chicken broth must be something they overlook. until they fix it, I don't think it should be listed on happy cow at all. I ordered the vegetables (fried beans and sweet) without rice, and also asked for guacamole, who came out to be $12,50 why the sweet dish costs so much about me most Chinese restaurants selling veggie dishes for cheaper. it took 4 different people, including the manager and a cook to find out if the rice was cooked in chicken broth, as I suspect. the language barrier became a problem, so a very helpful, more helpful fellow worker helped to clarify the problem by asking the manager my question in Spanish. overall the menu is slightly overpriced, the portions a bit on the small size. at the end the dinner costs for 2 adults and 3 children $52, without rest too.
We decided to visit this restaurant due to the short wait time and its proximity to our hotel/event. Additionally, we were impressed that someone actually answered the phone. The restaurant had a unique ambiance, reminiscent of a Mexican village. They only had Dos Equis Beer on tap, but offered other options in bottles. The combination plates were a good value and provided a generous amount of food. We were promptly seated and served. We started with chips and salsa, which had a flavorful salsa and decent chips. Our party of seven enjoyed the food, with standout dishes being the chimichanga and Chicken Tamale. We indulged in deep fried ice cream for dessert. Despite the slightly messy surroundings, we would return to this restaurant for its quick service and tasty food. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I met up with my friends and coworkers for dinner at this restaurant and we all loved our meals. We have been here several times and the food is consistently excellent, especially the fresh guacamole. Everyone was pleased with their dinner and dessert choices. The menu is extensive and we have tried many dishes, all of which were delicious. The restaurant itself is very nice.
The food was alright, but being from Texas and being closer to Mexico, I've had better tasting Mexican food in Texas.
