Not bad for a diner. After arriving late in Harrisburg we were informed that after 10 pm our only choice for dinner was waffle house or capital diner. Capitol diner it was. Very shiny/clean 50ish looking. Service was pretty slow to non existent except to bring our drinks and 30 mins later our food. Stopped here because IHOP was swamped. Had a good meal, friendly service. Typical diner fare. Enjoyed our meals. Breakfast and other diner foods available.
Always very good food. Had the cream of crab soup. Nice thick base,excellent flavor and plenty of crab throughout. London broil sandwich was very tender and a soft hoagie roll. Would of proffered maybe onions instead of mushrooms still full of flavor and there fries are very good to.
Great food!. Great food and great service. we took our 3 daughters to eat here and loved it. Burger was 'yummiest ' my 6 year old said:
After traveling and stopping at several terrible places in PA, we were all relieved when Capitol Diner served us a yummy breakfast. Very nice diner. Will stop again next time through.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and good food. My waitress was not sober....
