This place was amazing..not only is the location beautiful but the food was delish! We will definitely return when we are back in Aurora. Hearty portions, you?ll be asking for a to go box for those leftovers! There can be a little wait ..spend timefeeding the fish and turtle outside the restaurant or go shopping in the Marina store. I?d recommend going to eat by 8am-9am, toget a table without much wait time. View all feedback.
What Jordie White doesn't like about Cindy's On The Barge:
I?ve only had the breakfast and this place is like the gourmet Waffle House without the crack addicts. Portion size greater than this country?s debt, taste is better than Steve Harvey?s taste in fine suits, and atmosphere more euphoric than the freakinCatalina wine mixer. Be patient with the servers they?re usually short staffed (quantity of servers not their height) but worththe wait. View all feedback.

Let me preface this review with the fact that we are foodies. I was visiting family members in the area and they recommended we eat here so we all went down for a late breakfast. The restaurant is set in an idyllic setting with a beautiful sunrise over thelake. As you walk onto the barge there is a little food dispenser. Spend the .25 to feed the turtles because they are soprecious and it is such a sweet moment to spend with the family and friends. Once inside there is a nice bait/gift shop and therestaurant. My family recommended the benedict dish so I decided to give it a try. This dish is big enough to split between 2and I am a big eater. The sausage in this dish is delicious (and I am not a big lover of breakfast sausage). I was told theymake this sausage here at the restaurant and it is probably the best I have ever had. Everyone at breakfast was very happy andfull at the end of the meal. I hope to return soon, it was that good!! As with everyplace right now do yourself the favor ofcalling and making sure they are open as it seems businesses all over are having a hard time keeping staff to stay open. Justcall before you go, don't trust google, Facebook, or anything else. Just call then go because it was a very sweet spot you willnot be disappointed!!
Lunch was awesome. Their Patty Melt was really good. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was great. The amount of onion rings you get was easy more than 2 people could eat
We had lunch here under the new ownership/management and can't say enough good things about the experience! We were seated promptly and greeted by the waitress in a timely manner. Our food came out without a lengthy wait, and it was hot! No lukewarmfries! We had chicken strips and a burger and were very pleased with the quality and the taste. And the staff were very friendlyand helpful. Keep up the good work! We'll be back!
