Although on the expensive side, the quality matches the cost! Absolutely fantastic.
My favorite thing about New Seasons is that it’s hard to eat bad when you shop here. The products are very sustainable, most selections are the best you can find, the product department is unmatched by other nearby grocers like grocery outlet and Fred Meyers. This New Seasons is the best place to select a bouquet if you’re someone who purchased this often for home decor or as a regular gift for family, friends or a significant other. They have bountiful herbs, mushrooms and micro-greens and I absolutely am in love with their homemade guacamole! The totopos tortilla chips are solid enough for a thick dip or tuna salad, so you have to try those! They have excellent sushi, sake selection and delicious pizza. Surprisingly you can buy some of the rarest fish and meats in the frozen section to the right of the deli. I bought some nice whole octopus tentacles, poke bowls, venison burgers, they even have rabbit. Also I live for the forager cashew probiotic drink next to the Kefir in the yogurt section on the bottom. Living wage job provider, conscious grocer with a nice community information area with local publications and a place to place to flyers for services and local events. They also have a dining area if you want to grab from the hot bar and dine-in.
The customer service at the coffee counter was terrible. Two different employees were rude and awkward.
This place is absurdly expensive. it blows my mind that people actually come here. Go literally anywhere else
There are happy places and then there are happy places. I'm not a foodie. I eat to live. But there is something about this place that makes me happy. Maybe it's the beauty of the produce section when it's all ready for the day or maybe it is the meat counter where they actually know the answers to my questions about meat and fish. Maybe it's the perfectly wide aisles, organized how I think, not like a corn maze, or the great smells from the deli or hot food section that make me hungry when I know I'm not, or the cheerful checkout clerk laughing because she didn't know you sell hotdogs ready to eat, but I found them. Whatever it is, and I suspect it's a little of everything, New Seasons gets marketing. It also gets that the last few years have been tough on everyone and they seem to be determined to help us out of those memories and look forward to something good. I'm glad there is finally going to be a new New Seasons close to my house and I really hope it's like this one. Do I pay a little more? Yes. But that is worth a lot to me. I don't put a lot of food in my body but when I do I want it to be good. I know a store can't make be happy. I have to do that. But being surrounded by something beautiful for a little while helps.
