It was way better the first time I went a year ago, maybe they were having a bad day. My avocado smash was a bit sad. Vegan carrot cake is still delicious though!! Would return for the cake! View all feedback.
The food was amazing, there were several vegan items to choose from and other options that could easily be made vegan. My non vegan friend liked it just as much as me! If you like carrott cake I highly rate it!!
I’ve eaten here a couple of times over the last year. There are lots of vegan options on the menu and several cakes/slices in the cabinet. Today I had the grilled mushrooms with a mushroom/chestnut patty, pesto, miso and salad. The salad was huge (a little stingy with the cherry tomatoes but the rest was good) and the patty was full of flavour. The miso and pesto on the side were a great addition too. Definitely the place to go for vegan options in Hanmer.

Great to see heaps of vegan options on the menu and in the cabinet, everything super tasty, a little oily for the breakfast greens and mushrooms but nothing major, still a filling delish breakfast before the hotpools, owners both vegan themselves, lovely people great to see in Hanmer!
That was a hit for me (vegan) and nave (meat eater).
