After our first dish (the green beans with peanuts) was served we had to wait ages for the rest to come. We got the crispy duck skin and were sorely disappointed when we found it tasted like nothing and had the texture of fried paper. The orange juice was warm and 90% pulp and the papaya juice tasted like dishwater. The sausages we ordered never arrived. When we asked the staff (who were collectively on their phones in the corner) what was taking so long they said we never ordered sausages. Luckily we weren't charged for them. Loved the vegg... read more My Chinese Host family took me out for a meal here and overall the food was good. We ordered a faux meat dish and as well as some vegetable ones. Loved the veggies, but the texture of the faux meat was not really to my taste, it was a little rubbery and hard on the top but it was quite interesting to try. The service was really nice and attentive and it was nice to sit in such an open space. Updated from previous review on 2017-09-02

They don 't speak English here at all, but have an iPad so it 's really easy to order. Pay downstairs. One of the best meals I had the entire time I was in China! I got the vegetarian chicken with peanuts, bok choy, and peppers. SO GOOD! It says no eggs on here so I was hesitant to order the fried rice for fear it had eggs. I did see lots of older people and monks dining at this restaurant (which is always a good sign).
