Keweenaw Co-op Market Deli - Hancock

Today was the first time I was ever inside. I was AMAZED at the variety of things in there and the gal at the register helped me pick out the sage my daughter wanted, even got myself a braid of sweetgrass. My mouth watered as I walked through the fresh veggie section. Prices seemed pretty comparable to other stores. Quaint, very nice and clean, all the customers were polite- no one pushing and being crabby, staff were all friendly and just an all around peaceful feeling. Turned the negativity of the day into a very good vibe. I could have stayed and set up camp. Sort of like a cross between a small town general store, farmer's market and a head shop ; LOVE it! Will plan on making it a regular shopping spot!

Support for community projects, like Herbalists Without Borders Wellness Event for women in the childbearing year, with a generous co-op contribution of fresh bananas to feed the pregnant mamas and their little ones was awesome.

I can not say enough about how much I love this store and its staff. So much homemade goodness in the deli. Thank you for being there for the Keweenaw!
