Opakapaka Grill And - HANALEI

Stayed 8 days at the Hanalei Colony Resort, so I had the opportunity to eat my way through the menu. Not a bad dish on there. My wife fell in love with the fresh catch fish, sorry I forgot which fish it was, she had it numerous times and was truly happy ordering it again. My favorite was their burger. It was spectacular and had the best bun I have ever had. The atmosphere is laid back with ocean views. Service was fine as they seemed to be under staffed. Would definitely recommend.

Nice views, great service and the food was very good. Fish and chips, fish tacos, and fresh catch was very tasty. Large open seating could use a few more wine options only suggestions

Best dinner we’ve had all week and really glad we got the chance to come in! We had the veggie tempura roll (super good), ahi poke, fish n chips, fish tacos, fish sandwich, and a few drinks. Everything was delicious. Owner and his team are all really friendly. He sat down and told us stories of the last few years in Kauai. Definitely must go if you’re looking for somewhere that has amazing food and service and isn’t overwhelmingly crowded like the downtown hanalei spots, plus it’s right on the water. One of the highlights of this week!

Last night we had an amazing dining experience at Opakapaka Grill and Bar. I hadn't been there since the Covid shutdown and, miraculously, they survived and they are better than ever. Even understaffed, the service was friendly and efficient, food was over the top, and of course their legendary Fish Tacos are delicious. I highly recommend this oceanfront restaurant on the Northshore of Kauai.

We had a fabulous dinner at Opakapaka Bar and Grill last night. The Fish Tacos were superb! In fact, everything we ordered was delicious. The service is fast and friendly, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere (ocean front) is divine. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
