Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Hammond

I’ve visited several Golden Corral locations over the years, and I can confidently say that this one is the best I’ve experienced. The buffet was well stocked, with plenty of servers attentive to the guests and maintaining cleanliness. The atmosphere was quite pleasant. It’s important to understand what Golden Corral is about before you walk in; it’s all about the buffet experience. That said, I believe that most of the food here is above average for a buffet-style restaurant. This place definitely deserves 4 stars instead of just 2 or 3.

This place used to be fantastic a few years ago, with so many great options before the restrictions were put in place. Now, it’s just okay. The kids love coming here, and the staff is really friendly. I’ll keep dining here until it gets as bad as Ryan's Buffet.

I recently visited the restaurant again and gave it another chance. I've actually been back twice since then. The food is hot and delicious, and the service was excellent. I can't say a single bad thing about the place!

My wife and I really enjoy dining at Golden Corral. Recently, we took a drive with her sister to break away from the routine at home, and we decided to stop by Golden Corral. Everything was quite good, although the steaks were a bit salty. I understand that the cook was quite young, so I’ll attribute that to experience. At least he is gaining valuable work experience, unlike many people who are sitting at home saying they can’t find a job.

Someone please tell me how this restaurant is rated 4.1 on Google. We were on a road trip and we're trying to decide between Chili's and GC. Unlucky for us, we decided on GC. Here's a list of the problems: 1. Cashier had troubles in the register. She worked for about 5 mins on someone's ticket and then, finally asked another worker for help. 2. No meat on the grill...none. 3. Fried chicken was fried with the fish, so it tasted fishy. 4. Rest of food was . 5. The bathroom. 6. The bathroom 7. The bathroom 8. The bathroom 9. The bathroom 10. The bathroom. Do NOT waste your money. You will be sorry and leave feeling sick.
