What a great place to have a family dinner. All dishes were fantastic particularly the tiger steak.. the yellow curry beef was a bit disappointing however all the other dishes & the Thai fried rice were beaut. Will go back just to have the Tiger steak.Service was good & the staff even sang happy birthday for my daughter when they served the cake.. 4.5 out of 5.. View all feedback.

My first impression..... Behind the bar the gentleman was lovely and organised a table and then it was down hill. Staff member was asked to set up table and the table was set up with a scrunched up table cloth and dirty. In fact every table cloth was scrunched up and dirty. They are incredibly generous on your birthday at this restaurant! They even offer free drinks! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I cannot praise this restaurant enough! The Thai food is top-notch and the ambiance is superb. I will definitely be returning!
The food at this restaurant was quick, impressive, and featured a variety of textures. The staff were friendly and excellent, making it one of the top dining options in Newcastle. Additionally, the restaurant is vegetarian-friendly.
The Grain offers fantastic food and service, with a wonderful atmosphere and view. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend trying The Grain for Thai cuisine.

Weekend away up Hamilton with the family and we came across The Grain! Amazing service, food was divine, an abundance of ambiance wow oh wow, the kids just loved their super sized drinks garnished with a pineapple, umbrella orchid. Our youngest likened it to being overseas, it felt very authentic! Complimentary treat for the kiddies too! Thank you for making our evening so special xo
