China Wok - Hamilton

This restaurant used to be fantastic, but things went downhill when new owners took over. The quality of the food declined, and unfortunately, we will not be returning to this establishment. It is disappointing to see our favorite spot lose its charm.

As of 08/28/2020, there have been changes in ownership at this restaurant. The rating has dropped from 4.5 to 2 stars. While the previous owners may not have had the most refined food, it was always fresh and had a clean taste, unlike anything I had experienced in a Chinese takeout establishment before. The quality of their ingredients was excellent and the portions were generous. However, after ordering from the new owners recently, I was extremely disappointed. The food was flavorless, with poorly cooked rice and meager portions of meat. The chicken in the sauce combo dish was scarce and the ribs were tough and lacking in taste. Even the chow mei fun, which was a favorite due to the old owners' skillful preparation, was now unappetizing and muddled. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again and will be looking for a new place to dine.

The food was delicious and served quickly, but I found the boneless ribs to be a bit tough to chew. Other than that, everything else was great and reasonably priced.

First timer, will never eat there again, my food went into the müll

Used to love this place. Ever since new owners took over, the menu was chopped in half, and they no longer offer delivery. No thanks!!
