Black Forest Inn - Hamilton

Once a much smaller and more cozy restaurant with the original owner playing the accordion for customers and now expanded but the food has remained consistently excellent and authentic German food. The schnitzels are all outstanding. The accompaniments are excellent whether the red cabbage or the homegirls. The soups are also great. I brought my wife here fir one of our first dates in the early 1960's and we make a point of returning here every time we are in town and are never disappointed!

Very busy place. This place transports you to Germany. Servers in traditional Germany outfits and the decor of quaint German Inn. Very hearty meals that will fill you up.

It is not fancy but quaint with go food at a reasonable price !Go early or wait for a table !Go early to get a table or sit around and chat with friend over drinks or wine ! I enjoy the food and the atmosphere !

This is simply the best German-Austrian food you can get in Hamilton. My family comes here quite often for birthdays because we all love it. It's got a Bavarian looking decor inside and you sort of feel like you're in Europe. The food is simply amazing and the portions are large (and they'll give you your leftovers in a take-away container.) The service is always good and the waitress wear themed dresses, which fits with the decor. All in all a great restaurant.

This place has been here since the 50's that must tell you something ! all i can tell youI if if you want the best here it is !!
