**Coming Home:**
When it was called Slainte, I frequently visited this place for business lunches. Walking through the door felt surreal. They have added a bathroom downstairs, and the ground floor has been transformed into an upscale restaurant. The food is excellent, and I plan to keep coming back. This place has so many stories to tell; I estimate we had lunch here about 1,500 times—often three times a week for ten years! The second floor has a pub theme and has been beautifully renovated. Although the menu isn't traditional Irish pub fare, I'm sure I'll adapt.
What Jayne Roob doesn't like about 33 Bowen:
I have to say our server was extremely nice, the steak pretty tough and the lobster mac and cheese, didn't see any lobster and not much cheese either. The prices were reasonable, but the quality of the food not so great. Beautiful Building View all feedback.
It was our first time to eat here and we had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent, service was excellent. Would recommend.
Great atmosphere, good food! I have and will visit again and recommend a friend. Our waiter was fantastic and made our experience even better.
The service was not available. I know it was lunchtime and not busy, but the two employees doubled each other to see if we needed something. The food was best on average and we both had watered pops.
Great good and service. Loved the raw oysters. Even had some live music!
Our table of four enjoyed halibut and chips (2), a BLT, and a vegetarian plate for the vegetarian in our group. We shared the soft pretzel appetizer, which was very tasty. All meals were excellent, especially the BLT, which arrived with an egg on top. Our server AMcH, who had only been working there 3 weeks, was attentive and personable. Overall a nice Friday evening out.
